Obituary of Stephanie Rose Coppola

Stephanie Rose Coppola, 37, of Howell passed away on February 4, 2021.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a lifelong resident of Howell.  Stephanie obtained her Master’s degree from Rutgers University and worked as a special education teacher for the Edison Township Board of Education.  Teaching was her passion, and she was honored to receive the 2014-2015 Teacher of the Year Award.  Stephanie loved her dog, Koopa, of 12 years, reading, and going to the beach.  Above all, she treasured spending time with her son. 

Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is in the loving arms of her Grandma Kay. 

Stephanie is survived by her son, Francis James Coppola of Howell; parents, Carmelo and Michele Geraci of Howell; sister, Nicole Geraci of Red Bank and her fiancé, Matthew Kufta; brother, Nicholas Geraci of Lake Como; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM with her funeral service to follow. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines. Facemasks will be required. Interment will be private.
