Obituary of Daniel Paul Curato
Danny Curato, 37, of Brick passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 11, 2021. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, and lived in Manalapan for 20 years before settling here. To Danny, family was everything. His daughter was the center of his universe. He loved going out to dinner and on vacation with his family. Danny was a homebody who enjoyed watching movies and playing video games. He also enjoyed riding his jet ski and driving his Polaris Slingshot. Anyone who knew Danny, knew that he loved to look good, dressing well and smelling pleasant.
Danny was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Daniel Dier; and his paternal grandmother, Gina Curato. He is survived by his daughter, Mikayla Curato of Toms River; parents, Larry and Donna Curato of Brick; sister, Laura Sullivano and her husband, James of Howell; niece and nephew, Juliana and Lorenzo of Howell; maternal grandmother, Joann Dier of Brooklyn; and paternal grandfather, Paul Curato of Brooklyn; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines. Facemasks will be required. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 100 North Main Street, Marlboro, NJ 07746.
