Condolences
Memories of my friend Jeannie - although I hadn't seen her in a few years, we kept in touch by phone and through cards - I met Jeannie when we were both searching for soul mates. She and I had so much fun socially and her disability never stopped her. We even went tubing together and she tore up the dance floor in her wheelchair at our wedding. She was always game to try anything once and didn't fall back on her limitations. After we were both married, our husbands really hit it off as much as Jeannie and I did. We had many memorable double dates together with Jeannie and Jerry.
I will miss Jeannie's smile, laugh, feistiness, getting my feet run over by her wheelchair, helping her decorate her house for the holidays, celebration dinners and parties, car shows, strolls in our local parks at our house and on the beach at their house, and her love of country music. I was lucky enough to meet both her parents before they passed, and they were loving, wonderful people. I'm sure Jerry missed her over the last five years since he left us in 2015, and he called her to join him. Now I truly believe they will be together as they were meant to be forever. I miss him and will truly miss her friendship and love. Sincerely, Linda and Earl
