FUNFACT: Ray was an excellent dart player and won many games! His last one for fun was at PointPleasant boardwalk after Jo died. He won a monkey and kept it near her picture.
Ray took pride in growing his beard for December so he can play Santa. He wore his Santa hat for Security guard and all the families took pictures of him! He smiled his warm smile & it made him happy to do it!
This was Ray’s selfie sending it showing us “ he is getting ready”!! This was his last Christmas to play Santa. We love you & miss you Ray!!
Ray, You & my mother loved Mulligans. A place where you laughed, met life long friends. Mulligans gave you a place to go helping after mom’s passing. You asked the owner to hang mom’s picture & it had you in it. You loved it. That was Dec/Jan of this year. You made the wall with Jo. We miss you so and Rest in Peace!
Ray, Your last birthday was 4/14/ 2020 in the heat of the pandemic & wanted you to have happy wishes as you were just healing from Mom’s 1yr anniversary of her death. We wanted you to live & be happy. No one expected you not to make your 77 th. I am so sorry and sad for you. You were blindsided by this virus. You died brave & a hero . A victim of this battle, this war like a Marine you died fighting. We will sing to you on your 77th birthday, honor you and make a cake!
( Ray got into baking cakes and was very good at it!)
We miss you & will always Remember you & love you
