Along with her husband, she relished in her trips to Atlantic City, especially to the Taj Mahal and also could be found waiting by her front door for Publisher Clearing House to come. Most recently, Florence loved to facetime with family and friends to keep in touch. A woman of faith, Florence volunteered at the Samaritan Center in Manalapan, Girl Scouts and school. Her selfless generosity was received by many through a motherly hug, a conversation or a place to lay their head. It continued to her end, sharing that all should take comfort in knowing, “I did not die, I’m on the other side. My three greatest treasures were my faith, family and friends.”
Florence was predeceased by her husband, A. Leonard McLane in 2019 and a brother, Arthur Fendt, who passed away this past Monday, February 22, 2021.
