Obituary of Dinh Nguyen

Dinh Nguyen, 51, of Freehold passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Nha Trang, Vietnam, and had lived in The Bronx and Jersey City before settling in Freehold in 2003. Dinh worked as an owner in Car Services for L & D Limousine in Jersey City. He was a well-rounded man who wore many hats and had a talent for restoring antique cars as he was a huge classic car enthusiast. Dinh could often be found cooking, working by the grill at all the get togethers, and going fishing. He volunteered at St. Catherine of Siena Church, was truly selfless and generous, and was the go-to guy for help or information. Above all, Dinh was a devoted family man who was passionate about spending quality time with his loving family. He was a Super Dad to his children and an adoring husband who always put his family first.

Dinh was predeceased by his mother, Nhien Nguyen. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Trinh Nguyen of Freehold; children, Brandon, Justin, Ethan, and Ryan Nguyen, all of Freehold; father, Phuc Nguyen of The Bronx, NY; brothers, Khanh Nguyen of NY, Dat Nguyen, his wife, Chau of NJ, Lam Nguyen, his wife, Criselda of NY, Hung Nguyen of NY; sisters, Ha Nguyen of NY, Nhung Nguyen and her husband, Gary of TX, Thuy San and her husband, Sam of NJ, Uyen Nguyen of NY, May Hong Matthews and her husband, Vince of NY; brothers-in-law, Thuoc Nguyen and his wife, Thu of CA, Thanh Nguyen and his wife, Yen of NJ; sisters-in-law, Thuc Nguyen of CA, Thao Nguyen and her husband, Tiep of FL, Thac Nguyen of NJ, Tam Nguyen and her husband, Chanh of NJ, Thuy Guarda and her husband, Helder of NJ; and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will all dearly miss the impact he left on their lives.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines. Facemasks will be required. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale.
