Obituary of Enrico A. Moscola
Enrico Moscola, 79, of Freehold passed away at the CentraState Medical Center on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born in Brooklyn, lived in Staten Island, and in 1979 settled in Freehold. Enrico was a graduate of the City College of New York and worked as a Systems Engineer for Fort Monmouth. He enjoyed capturing photos of wildlife, his family, and the places he would visit. Enrico was a lover of animals and donated to charities to help preserve endangered species. He was particularly fond of the elephants at the Tennessee Elephant Sanctuary. Enrico adored his grandchildren and wore the title of Grandpa Ricky with pride. He will be forever remembered behind the lens of the countless moments of joy and milestones he preserved for his family.
Enrico is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Karen Moscola; children, Barbara Manzer and her husband, Christopher of Hammanton; Steven Moscola and his wife, Michelle of Northfield; James Moscola and his wife, Stephanie of Red Lion, Pennsylvania; and Tracey Suebsingh and her husband, Preechaya of Bel Aire, Maryland; grandchildren, Alec, Isabella, Nicholas, Tyler, Owen, and Ryan; sister, Carol Ann Zwycewicz and her husband, Raymond of North Carolina; brother, Alfred Moscola and his wife, Andreia of Delaware; and sister, Nancy Knarr of South Carolina.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines. Facemasks will be required. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 9:00 AM for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.
