Obituary of Argetta Korologos

Argetta Korologos, 88, of Freehold passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. She was born and raised in Chios, Greece and settled to Freehold. Argetta worked for many years as a talented seamstress. She was most known for her amazing cooking and devoting quality time to her loving family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Korologos. Argetta is survived by her sons, Stephen Leotsakos and his wife, Karen Mandia of Manhatten, and James Leotsakos and his wife, Marie of Jackson; four grandchildren, Michael, Kyle, Demitria, and Frankie; six great grandchildren; and three siblings, Peter Podias, Michael Podias, and Anthula Paddilithas.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM with her funeral service to follow. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines. Facemasks will be required. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown.
