Obituary of Margaret Ann Piechota
Margaret Ann Piechota, 61, of Freehold passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Trenton, grew up in Hamilton Square, and raised her family in Florence before settling in Freehold, NJ in 2008. Margaret was dedicated to her work as an Account Specialist for Rutgers University. She enjoyed travelling to Great Britain and Ireland, making new memories with old friends. Each year she looked forward to visits to Cape May with her companion Robert. Margaret was an abundantly positive person who sparked joy in the lives of others. As a devoted great-aunt, she enjoyed planning birthday surprises for her great nieces and doing anything she could to make them laugh. For many in her life, Margaret was a trusted confidant with a unique ability to listen without judgement and offer gentle words of support and guidance. Later in life, Margaret found peace in practicing daily meditation and strength through her spirituality. Those closest to her were deeply moved by her inspirational ability to persevere through positive thinking and her genuine appreciation for the beauty of life.
Margaret’s parents John and Helena Gribbin predeceased her by many years. She is survived by her daughters, Caitlin Piechota of Florence and Christina Mangus and her husband, Kyle of Bordentown, NJ; her loving companion, Robert Hannah of Freehold; brother, John T. Gribbin and his wife, Debi of Clarksburg, NJ; sister, Susan Miller and her husband Carl of Franklinville, NJ; nephew, Sean Gribbin of Seattle, WA; niece, Meghan Parker, her husband Graham, and their children, Reese, Fallon, and Sloane of Clarksburg, NJ.
