Obituary of Esther F. Haase

Esther F. Haase, 77, of Freehold passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Wedgwood Gardens, Freehold. She was born in Brooklyn and raised in Sullivan County, New York.  Esther had lived on Staten Island prior to settling in Freehold in 2009.  She worked as a secretary at a law firm for several years prior to raising her family. Esther was a Kuwanis Charter member loved to play Mahjong. Most of all, she was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother.

Esther is survived by her husband, Charles Haase of Freehold Township; children, Matthew Haase and his wife, Laura of Howell and Stephanie O’Halloran and her husband, Sean of Sayerville; and four grandchildren, Amanda Haase, Jennifer Haase, Hannah Rose O’Halloran, and Daniel James O’Halloran.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the funeral home. For the safety of the public and our staff, we are asking everyone to help us adhere to the CDC guidelines. Facemasks will be required. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C.
