Obituary of Jeannie Marie Stone

Jeannie Stone, 62, of Howell passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. She was born and raised in Springfield, MA, and had moved to New Jersey in 1991. Jeannie lived in Sea Bright for a few years and finally settled to Howell in 1995. She was known for being a big fan of Disney and taking annual trips for weeks at a time with her partner, David. Jeannie enjoyed watching General Hospital and would watch any chance she got, even if she was away on vacation, and tried to go to as many meet and greets possible. Jeannie and David enjoyed going to many concerts and Broadway shows together. She was an avid Red Socks fan, always tried to stay up to date on the team, and was a true Osmond’s enthusiast, she even went on the serenity retreat.

She was predeceased by her mother, Betty Lee. Jeannie is survived by her loving partner of 29 years, David Ciaffa of Howell; brothers, James Lee of Florida and Kenneth Lee of New York; and four nephews, Anthony, Hunter, Nathan, and Kyle.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with her memorial service to follow.
