Condolences
In honor of Joanna
A gentle spirit, in spite of pain
A beautiful smile, but never vain
And although we will not see her again
In our hearts, she will remain

Our deepest condolences on the loss of Joanna. She has been such an incredible person and inspiring friend to me and my husband. Len and Janice you are both unstoppable people in that spirit you have been a blessing to all of us with Dystonia. Joanna memory is one that will live in my heart forever ♾. It only takes one person to make a difference. Sincerely yours Lynne and Richard Garrow
Joanna had a warmth about her that showed the nature of her kindness. I am truly so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet her, and I am keeping your family in my thoughts.
Dear Janice and Len: I have seen far too much heartbreak in my 30+ years at Inglis but I have also been privileged to witness unconditional love and support between some of the Residents and their families and I can think of no better example of that than the both of you with Joanna through her illness. If Joanna was having a particularly hard day I could always count on face timing with you during her therapy sessions. You would offer your encouragement and bring Nicky to the screen so that Joanna could lift her fingers and pretend she was pinching Nicky's furry little backside. Princess would be in view adding to the commotion but it all helped to comfort Joanna and help her through the day.
In spite of her many medical conditions, I will remember her resilience, beautiful smile and gentle spirit.
I hope you find at least a small amount of comfort and peace in my message and know my heart goes out to you and your family.
Fondly,
Linda
