Obituary of Judith A. Hanley
Judith A. Hanley, 87, of Howell passed away at home surrounded by her beloved family on Saturday, May 22, 2021. She was born and raised in Hoboken, and had lived in North Bergen before retiring here in 1993. Judith enjoyed a successful career as a biller for APA Transport out of North Bergen for over 20 years. Lovingly referred to as “Nanny” by her grandchildren, she could be found spending time at the Freehold Township Senior Center, taking trips to Atlantic City, or going to horse races. Judith also loved listening to the Bee Gees and Frank Sinatra, or watching tv.
She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Theresa Gratale and her sister, Rosemary. Judith is survived by her son, Robert R. Hanley, Jr. and his wife, Nancee of Freehold Township; daughter, Judith Kelly and her husband, John of Howell; six grandchildren, Eric Hanley and his wife, Marnie, Jordan Hanley, Brendan Hanley, Morgan Pascali and her husband, John, John Kelly and his wife, Brigitte, and Stephanie Kelly and her boyfriend, Shaine; one great grandson, Jack Robert Hanley; and nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with her funeral service to follow.
