Condolences
I will always be thankful for the time I was able to spend getting to know Eddie as I grew up with the Miller Group Home being a large part of my upbringing. From running around and playing ball with him and his friends outside during the summers when I was young, to attending Christmas parties, and even just stopping by for a quick hello as seen in this picture, Eddie always made sure to be present and accounted for when anything exciting was happening! His humor and joy were contagious, and I continue to look up to him as an example of pure positivity and kindness.
Eddie will be dearly missed by myself and my brothers, whose memories of Ed are very similar to my own.
With love,
Molly Glenn
I was fortunate to meet Edward in 1992. I had traveled to NJ try to win the heart of a young lady I had met. Meeting the family was stressful enough, but then she told me I needed to meet "her guys" and I took my first ride to Miller Group Home. Eddie looked me up and down, and said "You-Guy-Get over here." and he proceeded to lay down the law. After agreeing to all of his demands, he called Lynda over and said "Here. He's fine." and he took my hand and put it in hers. I didn't realize it at the time, but this was the "real" test! The rest of the evening was spent listening to Ed play his ukulele and sings songs about coffee, his friend Alan, and somewhere in there he named each and every family member, staff person and housemate with absolute love and sincerity in his voice.
Once we were married and returned to the area, Edward came to family dinners, held our babies, and continued to sing for us and celebrate all that life had to offer. I had the privilege of working with Ed for quite a few years and sharing a cup of coffee each morning before he left for his program. Ed was a true gentleman; a proud son, uncle and brother; a bit of a Casanova; a fiercely loyal friend; and a forever family member of ours. Thanks for being such a big part of our lives Eddie.
Your Friend,
Donald
My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Eddie was a pleasure to work with at MGH. His warm smile and contagious laugh will be greatly missed.

Eddie certainly gave us countless memories at Miller Group Home! From sneaking around the corner and calling our name so he could jump out and scare us to being the boss! He had a nickname for most of us and I will miss him screaming “My Wife” from down the hall. Forever in our hearts.
I'm going to miss you Eddie The Guy With The Red Car...

So many memories of Eddie when I was at Miller Group Home. Loved when he would dance and sing “Achy Breaky Heart” and call me “little Amy” And tell me all about his visits with his family. He is someone I will always keep close to my heart.
Rest In Peace Eddie ❤️❤️
Eddie was one of the most amazing human beings I ever had the honor to work with. My time working
at the Miller group home Eddie became an extension of my family and my heart ❤...I will never forget get you and our many trips and fun times.
Rest easy Jonesie❤
I have such fond & loving memories of Eddie. He was certainly the "leader of the pack" but had such a soft, tender heart for anyone who was hurting or needed help. Eddie was a great dancer! I so enjoyed dancing with Ed, he was 'old school" jitter bug style. I will never forget how much fun it was to whirl around on the dance floor with Eddie! I am thankful for the time I spent and the lessons I learned from the residents at The Miller Group Home. Till we meet again Eddie.
We always loved having Eddie with us for basketball practice with the Friends of Special Athletes! He was truly special to those who spent time with him. May God bless him and welcome him home
So sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. Lots of good times at basketball and at events with Friends of Special Athletes.
