Condolences
Got to know Gene back in the late 70's when I started reloading and was with Manasquan PD. He always had time for questions and had the answers!! He is going to be missed greatly by the shooting world.
RIP you old goat, will miss you...

I’ve known Gene for many years. He got me interested in trap shooting which became a large part of my life. I will miss his smile and dry sense of humor. My condolences to Butch, Hope and their families. Your father was a great person, truly one of a kind. He will be remembered by many.

I have known Gene for the better part of 50years and it has been part of my life being his friend.
A part of me has died with him and I will dearly miss him! REST IN PEACE, MY FRIEND.
Gene and I met many years ago at a trapshoot somewhere. I can’t remember where. We were friends from the start. I think that’s the way it was for a lot of Gene’s friends. We sometimes squadded together. And sometimes met in the shoot off. Gene was a serious competitor with a heart of gold. I was deeply saddened to hear of his loss. My prayers go out to all his family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Rest In Peace my friend. I know you’re breaking them all now.
