Obituary of Linda A. Colabella

Linda A. Colabella, 55, of Howell passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at home, after a long battle with MS, surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Brooklyn and settled to Howell in 1998. Linda worked as a devoted Neonatal Nurse in Brooklyn at Maimonides Medical Center and Coney Island Hospital. She enjoyed playing Blackjack, taking road trips, and traveling around the country. Linda oversaw the building of her home and took great pride in it. She especially appreciated taking rides with her husband on his Harley Davidson. Above all, Linda was passionate about taking care of her boys and spending quality time with her family. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, the strength she carried throughout her life, and the light that she spread to others. Linda will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was predeceased by her father, Frank Limeri in 1983. Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Frank Colabella of Howell; three sons, Frank Colabella, Anthony Colabella, and Vito Colabella all of Howell; and mother, Nancy Limeri of Howell.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM graveside service on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, 549 County Route 520, Marlboro.
