Although I did not know Bill long, he has left a lasting impression on me. Here is why: for his love and dedication to our Lord, the revelation he made to me about my son, his passion for the David Jeremiah study "Escape the Night" and the treasured devotional books given to me by Bill and his wife, Leigh. I can't wait to see him in his resurrection body!

My brother in Christ, Bill heaven has welcomed you to your eternal glory with our Lord Jesus Christ the things of this life are but a vapor now, your suffering has ended the men's breakfast each month at Perkins were wonderful times of sweet fellowship that we will and have missed for some time now but Lord willing we will be at that blessed banquet with Our Lord. Bill had a love for the men of the church, planning events and arranging speakers, particularly his steak night at Ardena Baptist followed by his phone ministry when he had trouble getting around. I knew him as a fire fighter, as evidenced by the rope ladders at his kids bedroom windows, but didn't realize he had such a history with scouting. You will be missed dear Bill by all the lives you have touched. I echo the previous comment, may you find peace and may your family know you are whole again - Tim Sharpe
