Obituary of Dolores A. Landfear
Dolores A. Landfear, 74, of Freehold peacefully returned to her heavenly home on July 8 with her loving daughters by her side. Her devotion to her family and her faith supported her and ultimately gave her peace. Dolores, known to many as “Lori”, was a lifelong resident of Freehold. She was a lover of animals and the outdoors. She was an avid golfer and played for the love of the game anytime her and her friends could get on the course. Lori adored her grandchildren and wherever they were, she was there with them. They were her whole life and she made sure they were loved and cared for in as many ways as she could each and every day. Lori leaves behind her love and wisdom whom she passed down to her family and friends.
Lori is predeceased by her parents Franklin and Hedda Barkalow; and her brothers, William and Franklin Barkalow. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lori-Lynn Lueders and her husband, Keith of Barnegat and Anne-Marie Lloyd and her husband, Jeffrey of Freehold; her grandchildren, Erik, Avery and Hope who were her whole world; her siblings, Robert Barkalow and his wife, Sue of Howell, Hedda Volkmann of Virginia, Randolph Barkalow of Freehold, and Douglas Barkalow of Virginia; as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Service at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. For those that cannot attend in person, the family invites you to participate via Webcast. Interment will follow in Adelphia Cemetery, 581 Wykoff-Mills Road, Freehold.
