Obituary of Nancy Louise Stone
Nancy Louise Stone, 67, of Millstone Township passed away peacefully, due to a chronic illness, surrounded by her dear family and loved ones. She was born in Bayside, NY, and resided in Manhattan and Brooklyn before settling to Millstone Township, NJ, in 2004. Nancy had degrees in English and Nursing. Her career started as Editor of CBS Records Employee Newsletter, then, onto Wall St as an administrative assistant. After a midlife career change into Nursing, she worked in various roles: hospital, corporate, Emergency Room, sleep away camp, and Middle School. Nancy made you feel special and was a caring and excellent nurse. Often, Nancy advised parents of a medical issue, which proved crucial to their child’s future well being. Nancy treated homeless to dignitaries equally and had no use for pretention. Nancy impacted many peoples’ lives, for the better.
Nancy found joy with her pets, at the beach, with travel, reading, companionship, communing with nature and hosting holiday celebrations.
Nancy is predeceased by her father, Louis James Stone; and mother, Nancy Agnes Stone. Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Randy Parker; son, Louis Philip Parker; sister, Clare Warshavsky and her husband, Steven; brother, Thomas Stone and his wife, Amy; sister-in-law, Ellen Cassorla and her husband, Neal; niece, Bonnie Fritz and her husband, Michael; nephews, Jeffrey Cassorla, Ryan and Kyle Warshavsky; brother-in-law, Joel Parker and his wife, Sharon.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 and 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the Funeral Home. For those that cannot attend in person, the family invites you to participate via Webcast. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road, Manalapan, NJ 07726.
