Obituary of Edward J. Rasiewicz
Edward J. Rasiewicz, 62, of Manchester passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Raised in Freehold, Ed lived in Lakewood before settling in Manchester in 2012. He was a painter for Richard Moore Painting in Freehold for the past five years. Prior to that Ed worked for Holly Painting in Shrewsbury and RCA at Fort Monmouth. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and saltwater fishing. Ed will be remembered as a Mr. Fix It who loved “everything cars” including going to Raceway Park.
He was predeceased by his brother, William Rasiewicz; and his in-laws, Desmond and Lucille O’Mara. Ed is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lory Rasiewicz of Manchester; his son, Edward D. Rasiewicz of Freehold; daughter, Carly Rae Rasiewicz of Freehold and San Francisco; mother, Doris Tephford, of Freehold; sisters, Diana Tephford of Freehold and Dawn Tephford of Howell; brother and sister- in laws; nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM. Interment will be private. Donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
