Obituary of Tetyana Safronova

Tetyana (Tanya) Safronova, 72, of Howell, passed away on July 21, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born on February 25, 1949, in Dnipro, Ukraine. Tetyana received her Master’s degree in teaching from the University of Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine in 1975, and was teaching physics at high school for 27 years.  On February 21, 1970, she married Valeriy Safronov. They raised two daughters, Svetlana and Yevgeniya.

Tetyana and her husband Valeriy moved to the USA in 2003 to reunite with their daughter Svetlana.  Tetyana always provided support and love for her family and friends. Her children and grandchildren were the pride of her life.  Tetyana liked cooking and gardening, tutoring kids, and spending time with her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Valeriy Safronov; her daughters, Svetlana (husband Igor), and their children, Michelle, Jessica, Abigail and Samuel; and Yevgeniya (husband Alexander), and their children Elisabeth and Benjamin.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Rout 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

Burial of cremains will take place at St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Cemetery, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 29, 2021.
