Obituary of Katherine T. Suchcicki

Katherine T. Suchcicki, 74, of Farmingdale passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 26, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.  Katherine was born in Newark, raised in Hillside and had lived in South Amboy, Matawan and Smithburg before moving to Farmingdale in 1980.  She had worked for Bell Telephone and retired from both Sunshine Biscuits and Cooper Electric.  In retirement, Katherine worked for G&L Landscaping in Farmingdale.  She cherished spending time in her garden tending to her flowers and fruit trees. Katherine took great pleaser doing her Jumble, Word Sleuth, and Sudoku every day.  She also found solace in retail therapy.  Katherine was a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, and caring sister.

Katherine was predeceased by her son, John Vineyard; granddaughter, Candace Widner; and brother, John William Wilson.  She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Benjamin J. “Ben” Suchcicki, Jr. of Farmingdale; two children, Margaret Widner and her husband, Andrew of Howell and Benjamin J. Suchcicki, III of Neptune City; grandson, Matthew Widner of Howell; brother, James Wilson and his wife, Debbie of Linden; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM.  Interment will be private.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
