Obituary of Lillian Patterson

Lillian Patterson, 78, of Freehold passed away peacefully on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Wedgwood Gardens Care Center in Freehold.  She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife and mother.  Lillian was born in Staten Island, and had lived in Connecticut and North Carolina before settling in Freehold, New Jersey in 1989.  She earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Forsyth Technical Community College in North Carolina.

The sassy matriarch of her family, she loved being and talking with friends, traveling, watching movies and playing video games.  She was into nature and all of its beautiful animals.  She loved her whimsical horse, her affectionate cats and trusty dogs.  She appreciated earth's natural rock formations.

Lillian was predeceased by her son, Craig Nevulis in 2003, and brother Chris Hansen in 2018.  She is survived by her husband of 35 years William Patterson; daughter, Sherry Nevulis; son, Eric Nevulis; sister, Barbara Cyr, and three grandchildren.
