I'm proud to have known you for over 36 years. When I joined the Squad, you were one of only a few EMT's on the Squad. You encouraged myself and others to get trained and not be intimidated by all of it. Thank you for taking us under your wing and being our cheerleader. You and I were officers together, rode duty crews, and answered some crazy calls together !! If a man's worth is measured on the love and respect from family, friends, and colleagues, then you, Don, are worth billions !! My sincerest condolences to Joan and your entire family. You were an amazing dad, phenomenal volunteer in the community and a beautiful husband to Joan. You were such a hard worker, your whole life. Most of all, the way you lit up like a stadium over your grandchildren is something that I treasured. I will miss you more than I could ever express. I love you dad.
