Obituary of William D'Erasmo

William D’Erasmo, 65, of Howell passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, in Lakewood Township, NJ. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, had briefly lived in Staten Island, NY and settled in Howell, NJ in 1987. William worked as Chief Operating Officer for Brand & Oppenheimer Co. for many years, a vital contributor to the success of the company. William would always brighten up any room he entered. He loved to cook, sing, play poker, and watch his favorite movies and TV shows with his family by his side. He loved to make others laugh and smile. He was an avid traveler and always dedicated time to spend with his family. Sunday dinners and Karaoke jams were a weekly occasion at the D’Erasmo household for decades.  He loved to spend time with his two sons and worked very hard to ensure they had a great upbringing and an elite role model as they grew into men.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cindy D’Erasmo; and father, Nicola D’Erasmo. William is survived by his two sons, Nicholas and David D’Erasmo; mother, Rose; brother, Rocco; sister, Katie; and grandson, Nico.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Highway 9 North, Howell on Friday, August 27, 2021. Interment will be private.
