Obituary of Salvatore Benjamin Pavone

Salvatore Benjamin Pavone passed away on Wednesday August 18, 2021. Sal was born in Lakewood, New Jersey and resided in New Jersey and Florida.

Sal was a star football player and wrestler in high school. During his life, Sal worked as an assistant wrestling coach, in construction, a forklift operator, and a bouncer in many clubs throughout the Jersey Shore. Sal was an Eagle Scout and belonged to the Big Brother’s Association.

Sal was a gentle giant who was loved by many. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Sal will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for his family and big bear hugs. His family and friends take comfort knowing that he is at peace and is wrapped in the arms of Our Lord.

Sal is survived by his loving mother, Linda Halka; his father, Salvatore Pavone; his son, Liam Pavone; his brother, Francesco Pavone; his sister, Natalie Pavone; his bonus sister, Rachael Cervone; his niece, Mia Lynn Pavone; his nephew, Gabe Pavone; his Godmother, Sherry Calpini; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
