I am in total shock. I had no idea she was sick. I’m truly devastated reading this as I have known Wendy for over 60 years. Her parents and mine were friends as were Wendy and I as adolescents and then into our 20’s. This is the most devastating news. May she Rest in Eternal Peace. Now she’s with her brother and parents who she loved so much. As a hearing person it was wonderful to have someone reach you sign language. We shared so many fun times together that as I type this I have tears runny down my face. If there is a g_d and a heavenl please let Wendy be there now!
Wendy as we know her by that name at NJSD/MKSD had always a nice personality and a sweet lady. It is sad and a shock she left us the deaf community so soon. She will be sorely missed by her dear friends and the deaf community. May God put His arms around her family to comfort and peace that she is at home with Him. God bless you all.
