Obituary of Deborah Y. Bajohr

Deborah Y. Bajohr, 55, of Freehold passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.  Born in Fort Hood, TX, Deborah grew up in Lansdale, PA, before building her family dream home in Freehold in 2005.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Colgate University where she met her husband Bill before continuing to Villanova University where she earned her law degree. Deborah practiced as a Real Estate Attorney in partnership with her beloved husband at Bajohr & Bajohr in Parlin, NJ.  Deborah could often be found tending to her flower garden or rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles. Her children recently introduced Deborah to Netflix binge-watching which they enjoyed as a family.  She would always be front row at her daughter’s concerts or cheering her sons on at their sporting events.  Deborah was a fiercely devoted mother and family was everything to her. She found joy in the happiness of her children.

Deborah was greeted in heaven by her father, Thomas Yurkovic.  She is survived by her husband of 30 years, William Bajohr; three children, Sarah Bajohr-Perro and her husband, Vincent of Manalapan, William Bajohr and Alex Bajohr of Freehold; mother, Sandra Yurkovic of Lansdale, PA; sister, Alexandra Yurkovic-Saldarriaga and her husband, Peter of Newton, MA; in-laws, William and Barbara Bajohr, Sr. of Gouldsboro, PA. Deborah also leaves behind Alexa Perez and Alyssa McCloud who she considered to be children of her own. Deborah will be greatly missed by countless family members and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM memorial service at the funeral home on Saturday, September 25, 2021.  Internment will be private. The Bajohr family is adhering to guidelines recommended by the CDC and requesting that people wear masks while attending.
