Obituary of Rosemarie Mamoun

Rosemarie “Ro” Mamoun, 74, of Jackson passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. She was born and raised in Peckville, PA before establishing her life with her husband and son in Jackson in 1990. She loved her work as a Music Teacher in the Old Bridge Township Public School System for over 35 years. During her time there, she fulfilled her goal of imparting the love of music to her students. Rosemarie was a devoted wife, a proud mother, and fun-loving dog mom. Her energetic personality, pertinacious and unrelenting attitude, and selflessness are her legacy.

She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Eleanor Evans. Rosemarie is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Amin Mamoun of Jackson; son, Sharif Mamoun and his wife, Crystal Cabral of Massachusetts; best friend, Ronnie Kuhar of East Brunswick; cousin, Mary Ann Sherman and her husband, Alan of Clark Summit, PA; aunt, Mary Ann Banno of Clark Summit, PA; and faithful canine companion, Mia.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 1:00 PM graveside service in St. Mary’s Cemetery and Mausoleum, Montdale, PA on Friday, November 5, 2021.
