Obituary of Caroline Lillian Donofrio

Caroline Lillian Donofrio, 92, of Howell passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, moved to Manchester in 2000, Howell in 2013, then settled in Brandywine Living at Howell in 2021. In Caroline’s spare time, she loved to take advantage of all the activities Brandywine had to offer. Whether it was playing bingo, cards, or the slot machine.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Donofrio of 40 years. Caroline is survived by her daughters, Adelene Maguire and her husband, George of Howell and Angela Reilly and her husband, Frank of Howell; grandchildren, George Maguire and his wife, Melissa of Millsboro, DE, Christopher Maguire and his wife, Kate of Neptune, Shannon Reilly, and Michael Reilly; great grandchildren, Lucille Maguire and Connor Maguire.

A visitation for Caroline will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Following her visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend Caroline’s funeral mass at 10:00 AM in St. Veronica Roman Catholic Church, 4215 U.S. 9, Howell Township, NJ 07731. Interment will be private. Memorial Contributions in Caroline’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
