Obituary of Josephine Marzullo
Josephine Marzullo, 90, of Englishtown passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at home. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and settled to Englishtown in the 1980’s. Josephine took pride in taking care of her household and her family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed going on vacations, and could often be found knitting or embroidering in her spare time. Josephine had a green thumb which led to her success with gardening and planting. Above all, her family was everything to her and she made sure to spend time with them, especially her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Benedetto Marzullo; son, Angelo Marzullo; parents, Angelo and Marietta Russo; sisters, Camilla Valoroso and Frances Vinci; and brother, Antonino Russo. Josephine is survived by her children, Charles Marzullo and his wife, Gina of Old Bridge, Richard Marzullo and his wife, Karin of Stamford, CT, and Marietta Corrado and her husband, Louis of Howell; grandchildren, Kimberly Matchniff and her husband, Paul of TX, Kristine Richards and her husband, Michael of FL, Brian Marzullo and his wife, Christine of Qatar, Nicholas Marzullo of Hazlett, Gianna Marzullo of Old Bridge, Vincent Marzullo of Old Bridge, Michael Marzullo of WI, Christopher Marzullo of WI, Gina Marie Roth and her husband, Timothy of WI, Richard Marzullo of Queens, NY, Kerstin Marzullo of CT, Matthew Corrado of Jackson, Alyssa Corrado of Howell, and Lauren Corrado of Howell; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Queens.
