Condolences
Judy was such an awesome person to have around. Numerous times at various Edsel get togethers, she was such a positive driving force for my ongoing restoration of my car. Always there to extend a pleasant word and continued support, she is immensely missed by us all. We feel truly blessed to have known her and she will be remembered always!
Mike, my thoughts and prayers are with Judy and you. I just learned about her passing and was very saddened. As you know, Judy worked for me for many years at Andersen, and she always made me look good. She was a very special person and never failed to send me a Christmas card after I retired. I will never forget her and will keep her in my prayers always. Sincerely, Dick
My greatest memory of Judy is at all on the dinners we had at JB's. monday nites with the Edsel, holidays with wine, and birthdays, regular dinners - any and always. Smiles and laughter.
Winters were the best. When she would come in to the diner, it would take her 10 minutes to remove the layers. She was Nanook of the north. Between walking to the bus in NYC, the ride back home, she was cold. Mike was always there to warm her. Once the laughter started there was no stopping. Greatest way to warm the heart and body. So many times we closed the place, not wanting to go home because we were having so much fun. Unfortunately we had to go home, then came the layers back on. She was ready to brave the cold.
I will miss her laughter but most of all her ease to smile.

Michael – my condolences to you and the whole family. It was a pleasure working with Judy for the last few years. I always enjoyed the fact that I knew I would see Judy first think every morning in the World Financial Center - she’d always beat me into the office, (and I thought I was an early riser) and she always seemed to be in a great mood (especially for those early morning hours). My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am so sorry for your loss. Judy was an amazing individual and was loved by many at Deloitte. I had the honor of working with Judy these past few years. She performed every task with a smile and was so kind and sweet to everyone. She brightened our day with her smile and warmth. Heaven is a better place with their new Angel.
To Judy's family, friends and colleagues, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Judy for a few years at Deloitte. Judy is an amazing individual. I enjoyed working with her immensely and I know I speak on behalf of my entire Group. She was so sweet and kind and would do anything she could to help us in every way. She treated everyone as the most important person and made you a priority whenever you gave her something to do. She juggled her workload with a smile and never complained. She put so much heart into her work and all the people she helped. We have been sending so many posters and cards to Judy over these past fews months- we miss her so much and now we are comforted to know she will look over us as an angel in Heaven. Judy you are so special and such a beautiful person. We will all miss you so much and think of you often. We love you from the bottom of our hearts.
Mike and family, I've known and worked with Judy from Andersen days and again at Deloitte. Judy is a wonderful person as you all know. My heart is heavy as I learn of her passing. My condolences to you all. God is in control and he knows best. I'm sure you will find comfort from her pleasant memories. God Bless
Saturday nights in the summer were a lot of fun , as Judy , my brother Mike and my wife Lynn would head outfor the local ''Cruise Night'' with our vintage cars. We would always start out at JB's Diner with a meal and several laughs as always , then motor down route 9 to Old Bridge for the car show. Mike and Judy always looked so '50s -ish and regal in their Edsel . I would always pull up and park around Judy's side and wait for her to acknowledge me , then I would always ask her what king of car that was - usually referring to one poet Marianne Moore's misguided attempts at naming the car in the beginning. This would always bring a smile and a chuckle from Judy , and we got a kick out of a little Edsel humor. Cruise nights will never be the same without Judy . I will miss her.
To Judy,
Happy New Year in Heaven, Judy.
Your gentle soul touched many lives-
Your patience, love and humor made mine better.
I've always been so proud of you- Thank you for saying yes.
Mike, My thoughts are with you and Judy's family. I hope that you will find comfort and peace in knowing that Judy will be with you forever in spirit and solace in the fellowship of friends and family that surround you. This is a hard time, but one day you will find that your steps will be lighter and the days will be brighter as you are able to look back to the happy memories of the time you spent together. Better days are ahead.
John Joyce and I are sorry about the passing of your sister in law Please tell your Brother how sorry we are. We will Pray that the lord will give the courage to Go on. Joyce and Gary Taylor From Bristol Car Club.
Judy was more of a friend , than a sister in law. She had a real down to earth quality that I always admired about her. God has taken Judy home now , there will be no more pain for her . We ask God to watch over Mike , and help heal the pain in his heart. Together , they were the nicest couple you could ever meet. Thank you Judy , for all the wonderful memories you have left us with , and thank you for the priveledge of having known you. God Bless You Always.
On behalf of the Appalachian Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America in Bristol, Tennessee-Virginia, we are very sorry to learn of the death of Judy Rice! We wish the best for Mike and the entire family and will be thinking of you during this difficult time.
God looked around His garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered "Peace be thine". It broke hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone, For part of your family and friends went with you The day God called you home. (an Irish Blessing) God bless you and keep you.
I know the grief and pain are heavy...but please try to take some solice in knowing that Judy is now free and soaring on angels' wings. She will never be gone as long as you hold her in your heart and remember her with laughter and love. God Bless you Mike.
Judy was always so kind to me and my mother. She will be greatly missed, but her time here on earth left a lasting impact on those she encountered. May she rest in peace, free of life's pains.
Dear Michael, while our time's together were not often, we especially cherish them. Getting to know Judy and you were extra special. Please know that both Jo Ann and I share in your grief at this sad time. We send our thoughts and prayers, along with our love and compassion, which will be with you always.
Although our visits over the years were few, they were very special family moments. I will always remember your kindness and love You will always be in my heart. We pray that God's love will comfort Mike and family and all those who grieve Judy's passing.
Thinking of my brother and how his heart must be breaking. There will be a great void left in your life by Judy's passing. The love you shared and happy memories will see you through. Take comfort in knowing that her pain is gone and she is at peace.

Judy has indeed left us too soon , but thank God for ending her pain and suffering. She leaves us with some treasured memories and happiness in the fact that we were able to know her. Judy will always be with us and be the class act she always was in life. My heart goes out to my brother Mike , as Judy was the center of his universe . All my prayers will always be with them . I know we will all meet again , in God's house , one day. God Bless .
May the peace that comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead. Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather, openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.
She was a special lady. We are sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Now is a time of quiet sadness for me as my only sister has passed on. "To everything there is a season ..." It is the season of mourning her loss to us; yet I am confident that before too long we will remember with smiles her sweetness (and her unique way of laughing). Rest in peace, Judy.
One of the most kindest, seetest people I had the pleasure to know. Always filled with positive comments and encouragement, she was a very special person. It was wonderful having her present at the various Edsel gatherings. A smile always graced her face and brought plenty of joy to the members of the Edsel Owners Club. I feel deeply blessed to have known her. She will be extremely missed and may God Bless everyone in the family during this time. The Keystone Chapter has lost one of its most special members.
