Condolences
Hello, My name is Gregg Kolessar and I worked at age 17 as a busboy at Our House Tavern in Farmingdale,N.J. Mrs. Lucy Beaumont was the owner and I am thinking that Doris worked there too as a waitress back then. She was a nice woman and friendly to me. It was a very nice experience in my life to have known such good people as I grew up in Freehold Township class of 1977 and joined the Navy then and made a 22 year career out of it. I remember Tony the cook and also Ann and her husband nicknamed ACKY? Is that correct? He would only work Saturday nights and was a nice man. I would go back to visit to say hello and it was truly a good time in my life. I also remember John the bartender and John also the dishwasher and his niece who would help him out cleaning the dishes. I have lived in Cape Coral,Florida for 28 years but would visit the restaurant on my trips back and saw how it had changed over the years. I am glad to have known her and am also glad her family was there for her. It was nice to have known her as I have very good memories of working with her.
We have lost one of our true pioneers. Doris exposed the hazards of food and chemical sensitivities in children way before almost anyone else had a clue of this problem. Today we are concentrating on EMF's and we really need to just add EMF's to the growing list of things that do us harm. She proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, with her many video studies and documentations (back then they were 35mm movies) , the huge change in a child's behavior when they are exposed to one of their "trigger" substances. Her sister once took my 10 week optimal health course and sent me her regards. We need more people like her to win the fight against big business and their toxic chemicals and toxic foods.
She will be sorely missed.
Sending our deepest sympathy to you, Harry and the rest of the family.
Bob and I were very happy tp know Doris and to spend time with her and you!
May she rest in peace.
Prayers to all of the family.
