Obituary of Ida Feiss
Ida Feiss, 91, of Howell Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at CareOne at Wall. Ida was born and raised in Manhattan. She had lived in Cliffside Park, Jersey City, and Hoboken before settling in Howell Township in 1961. Ida retired as a line worker for American Mica in Manasquan and then in retirement worked at Dwulet’s Farm Market in Lakewood. She was active at the Howell Senior Center and volunteered for Meals On Wheels. Ida was a woman of faith and a parishioner of St. William the Abbot, Howell. With a thirst for the thrill of BINGO, she could be found in many halls throughout the day and into the wee hours of the morning. Ida took great pleasure in playing cards, ceramics and even crabbing for blue claws. She loved pansies, butterflies, and feeding her backyard birds. As an annual family tradition, Ida was known for her spaghetti and crab dinner. Yet nothing was greater than the love she had for her family and many close friends.
