Obituary of Donna M. Simonow

Donna M. Simonow, 54, of Howell passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center. She was born in South Amboy, raised in Old Bridge, and had lived in Howell and Steelton, PA before settling back to Howell in 1998. Donna worked as a dispatcher for Mr. Rooter in Freehold for a several years as well as Quality Medical. Prior to this, she worked at Rural Metro Ambulance and Abba EMS. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary Southern Fire Department and the Calvary Chapel Crossfields Church in Jamesburg. Donna found joy in attending rock concerts, going fishing, and bonfires. She also loved wineries, heavy metal, and attended Hell Fest in France three times. Donna loved the summer and hated winter. She loved sun rises and sun sets and the beach. Above all, she was extremely family oriented and made sure to put her family and friends first.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 15 years, Boris Simonow; children, Jeffrey Lunn and his wife, Danielle of Bayville, Michael Lunn and his fiancée, Rachel Lorusso of Howell, Tamara Simonow and her husband, Sergio Da Conceicao of Howell, Cristina Umbrewicz and her husband, Christopher of Howell, and Alexis Simonow and her partner, Tyler Devogel of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Eli and Owen; brother, Scott Reiss and his partner, Dawn Tephford; sister, Tracey Michenfelder and her husband, Bill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

All arrangements are private and under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
