Obituary of Stanley Marciniak
Stanley Marciniak, 83, of Howell Township passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Stanley was born and raised and had lived in Carteret before moving to Howell Township in 1958. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran during World War II. Stanley was the owner of S & M Sheet Metal until his retirement in 1996. He was a former member of the Howell Township Planning Board, Environmental Commission, and the Historical Society. Stanley was also a former member of the Manasquan River Watershed Association and the Allaire Village Tinsmith Association. Most recently, Stanley was recognized by Howell Township for his lifelong service to his community.
He was predeceased by his son, Gary Marciniak on July 1, 2011; two brothers, Al Marciniak and Frank Marciniak; and a sister, Jean Gulick. Stanley is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years, Ann Marciniak; one son, David Marciniak and his wife, Maryellen of Howell; two daughters, Joyce Marciniak of Howell and Janice Haney and her husband, Joseph of Freehold Township; a daughter-in-law, Audrey Marciniak of Kinnelon; three grandchildren, Stephan, Christopher, and Laura; two sisters, Sophie Niedbala of Middlesex Twp. and Dolores Sweeney of Sayville, NY.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 12 Noon to 3:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM with the Deacon Vincent Rinaldi officiating.
