Obituary of Mildred M. Trimmer
Mildred M. Trimmer, 90, of Jackson passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Mildred was born in Wall Township and was a lifelong Jackson resident. She started working as an Egg Candler for Pine Belt Eggs in Lakewood and then worked in a carpet factory and a wire mill until retiring. Mildred was a member of the Jackson Republican Club and a proud supporter of the DAV. She enjoyed doing puzzles and crafts and had a passion for gardening and taking care of her yard. Yet most of all, Mildred loved going out to eat.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Trimmer and her brothers, Edward Thompson, Donald Thompson, Elwood Thompson, Jr., and Stanley L. Thompson. Mildred is survived by her sister, Joyce Conk; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and her care givers, James B. Conk, Judy A. Conk and Patricia L. Conk and her fiance, Bob McClanahan.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Service at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Jackson.
