Obituary of Jerry Duhigg

Jerry "Wiggs" Duhigg, 75, of Howell Township died at home on Thursday, December 27, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was born in Scranton, PA and lived in Newark, East Orange, Linden and Edison before settling to Howell in 2004. Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was the owner of Seasons Restaurant & Sports Bar in Edison until his retirement in 2009. Jerry is survived by his wife, Alfonsia "Florence" Duhigg; three sons, Michael and his wife, Valerie of East Brunswick, Gerard, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Howell and Joseph and his wife, Amber of Howell; a daughter, Deborah Hutchins and her husband, John of Howell; thirteen grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Nicolette, Giana, Michael, Jr., Alyssa, Anthony, Joey, Cassidy, Lexie, Cole, Easton and Jax; two brothers, Charlie Hummel and his wife, Ann, and Chris Hummel and his wife, Hiroko, all of Virginia; a sister, Nora Hummel-Leigh and her husband, Jack of Glen Ridge; and his mother-in-law, Theresa Cocuzza. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 8:30 AM on Monday, December 31, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
