Obituary of Caroline Zimmerman

Caroline Zimmerman, 84, of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was born and raised in Perth Amboy and settled to Old Bridge where she raised her family alongside her loving husband. Caroline was devoted to her family, and her siblings were her best friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Walter Wycoff, Sr, siblings; Lorraine, Catherine, Mabel, Isabel, Evelyn, Dorothy, Walter Jr. (Sonny), and John. Caroline is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Henry G. Zimmerman, Sr.; four children, Helen & husband Anthony Marra III of Manalapan, Mabel & husband John Lucas Sr. of Freehold, Henry Zimmerman Jr. of Jackson and Carrie & husband Michael Murray Sr. of Howell;  12 grandchildren; Nicole & husband Dominick Basile Sr., Amy & husband William Blanchfield, Courtney Marra, Anthony Marra IV, Caroline & husband Jonathan Spages, Theresa & husband David Chesley, John Lucas Jr., Thomas Lucas, Michael Murray Jr., Sofia Murray, Alexa Murray and McKenna Murray, as well as 9 great grandchildren; Juliana, Jessie and Dominick Jr. (Basile), Liam and Elizabeth (Blanchfield), Cameron, Natalie and Olivia (Spages), and David Jr. (Chesley). She is also survived by siblings; Joan Cleaver, Helen Naiduk, Edward Wyckoff and Virginia Schulze. All whom loved her dearly and will forever feel her loss.

Visitation will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 333 NJ-18, Old Bridge on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 9:15 to 10:15 AM with her Funeral Mass to immediately follow. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge Township. All arrangements are under the direction of the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
