Condolences
Hi, Ruthie. Scott Piedmonte from Springfield. Remember me? I am so sorry to learn of Jim's passing and your loss, but delighted to learn of his faithful service to the Lord. May God abundantly bless you and yours! Scott
After having lived in NJ for a few years where we became friends with the Morris family, we moved back to Colorado and the entire Morris family came to a Colorado visit in 2004 - I posted on this site a picture of the Morris family at a Rockies game taken on June 29, 2004. We took the Morris family to Breckenridge and rented a boat where me, Jim, Mark and Josh were fishing. On the way back to the marina, Josh caught what is still the hugest trout I have ever seen! We ate it that night. Jim was not feeling well while at ~9,000 feet elevation in Breckenridge nor at a mile high (5,280) while at the Rockies game. I was teasing him for walking slowly and that he was lazy, etc, only to find out when they returned home that his heart was barely functional. I always teased him again once he had the valve transplant and I never did feel bad about it because Jim could sure dish out the hazing and teasing - he deserved it! I tell my friends about what I believe is a miracle that Jim was healed from that heart issue at the time. I praise God for Jim and for the relationship that I had with him and I am so happy that Jim is now resting eternally with Jesus his Savior in Paradise. We are glad to know Ruthie, Erica, Mark and Josh and we pray for their comfort and peace during this time. Love, Damian & Stacy Guerin.
Mark and family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers for you and your family. If you need anything, please don’t hesitate.
