Condolences
Katie (Costello) Kanzler
I have known Mrs. Gomes since I was in 6th grade (over 45 years). Dan & Mary Alice were High School sweethearts and her family became part of the Costello family! One memory of many memories of Mrs. Gomes I have is when my sister Mary & Norwood were leaving for Germany. We had a going away picnic. A friend of my sister and our family came with her little daughter and her triplet boys ( 8 months old). Well......during the party one boy started crying and Mrs. Gomes picked him up, coddled him on her chest and he calmed and fell asleep! Next she picked up the 2nd boy and put him to sleep and then the third boy!!!! She was a nurturing and loving person throughout all the years I've known her! She loved family!! She loved to cook & take care of all those around her!! She will be missed!! She lived a long ,fruitful, and wonderful life!! She will always be alive in all of our memories! Love you Mrs. Gomes always! Katie

I am very sorry for your loss, Mama Rosa was always a bright light n everyone’s life.
I know I always enjoyed being around her and watching her engage in all of the FUN we had together.
We did spend quite a bit of time with you and your Mom, she never had a bad thing to say, was always willing to take part in all of our nonsense escapades and never complained.
Your Mom’s memory and wonderful attitude will remain in my mind forever.
And of course her wonderful cooking!
You are very fortunate you had the pleasure of your Mom for many years, May she Rest In Peace
