Obituary of Marie L. Rinchiuso
Marie L. Rinchiuso, 77, of Freehold passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Marie was born in Canada. She was raised and had lived in Brooklyn, NY. Marie then moved to the Eltingville section of Staten Island before settling in the Villages, Freehold in 2005, where she lived a very active senior lifestyle. She retired from the New York City Public School System as an assistant cook in 2007. Prior to that, Marie was a buyer for Telco Stores and was a receptionist in a salon both in Brooklyn. True to her faith, she was a parishioner of the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township. Marie enjoyed her time in the sun by the pool, playing cards, and Mahjong. She had a passion for cooking and spending time with family. But most of all, Marie was the biggest fan of her grandchildren.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, Jack. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Cuzzolino and her husband, Dante of Freehold Township; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Rapisarda and her husband, Anthony of Freehold Township and Dante Cuzzolino and his girlfriend, Natalie Martinez of Freehold Township; a great granddaughter, Brielle Marie; a brother, Michael Galdorisi of Staten Island; a sister, Ann Schmick of Branchburg; and nieces and nephews, Ronald Schmick and his wife, Diana, Michelle DiPalma and her husband, Jason and Nicholas Galdorisi.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 9:30 AM for the procession to her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ.
