Obituary of Gerard M. Laino

Gerard M. Laino, 92, of Manalapan passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Manalapan the past 28 years.  Jerry was a member and past president of Colonia Country Club in Colonia, NJ.  He spent the last 70 years as an Independent Claims Insurance Adjuster and formed his own company known as Laino Adjustment Services, Inc. from 1970 to the present.  Jerry enjoyed spending time with his lifelong friends, playing poker and trips to Florida to play golf.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Ann Laino; two daughters, Gina Testa and her husband, Michael, and Danielle Larino and her wife, Jillian LiVolsi; and two grandsons, Christopher Testa and Nicholas Testa.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 9:30 AM for the procession to his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.  Interment will be private.  For those who desire, memorial contributions in Jerry’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfunerahome.com
