Obituary of Raymond J. Reszkowski
Raymond J. “Whitey” Reszkowski, 78, of Freehold passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He was born in Red Bank raised in Old Bridge before moving to Freehold in 2006. Ray was the owner and operator of Ray’s Excavating. He was very passionate about his work and took pride in every job he did. Ray loved a good scratch off and feeding the deer. His favorite pastime was meeting his buddies at the local coffee shop.
Raymond is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Louise. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia Reszkowski of Freehold; Children, Michael Reszkowski and his wife, Lisa of Freehold, Thomas Reszkowski of Old Bridge, and his girlfriend, Fernanda Toker of Teaneck and Kathleen DiStaso and her husband, William of Manalapan; Grandchildren, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Michael, Kiersten,Alyssa and Avery; Two Great Grand Children, Trent and Savannah; Siblings, Rita Fleming, Rene Nochese and Richard Reszkowski; Sister in law, Terry Freyer and her husband, Rennie.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM with his funeral service to follow. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Road, Manalapan Township, NJ.
