Obituary of Kathleen Kurzenberger

Kathleen Kurzenberger, 74, Farmingdale passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.  Kathleen was born and raised in Clark and had moved to Farmingdale in 1975.  She retired from the Freehold Regional School District in 2012, first working in the lunchroom and then in the libraries.  Kathleen was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena, Farmingdale.  She had a passion for ceramics, knitting and crocheting.  Kathleen enjoyed a good walk, either around the reservoir or on the boardwalk from Belmar, Spring Lake or Manasquan. 

She was predeceased by her husband on Saturday, January 28, 2022.  She is survived by her sons, Paul Kurzenberger of Farmingdale, Jeffrey Kurzenberger and his wife, Michelle of Jackson, and David H. Kurzenberger; three grandchildren, Hayleigh, Joseph, and Paulie; brother, Jim Romonosky; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend their 11:00 AM Memorial Mass on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Avenue, Farmingdale, NJ 07727.  Arrangements by Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township, NJ.
