Obituary of Anthony Rogers

Anthony Rogers, 53, of Jackson passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. He was born in Jersey City, raised in Howell, and settled to Jackson in 1998. Tony worked for many years as a Truck Driver for Shore Top Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. Tony was a candy-holic, an animal lover, and always looked forward to his yearly trips to Virginia with his daughters and grandkids, and to Lancaster with his wife. He enjoyed baking and cooking, especially baked ziti. Above all, he was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and son. Tony will be missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his mother, Rosemary Rogers; brother, Robert Rogers; and sister, Renee Rogers. Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Kate Rogers of Jackson; daughters, Kaitlin and Courtney Rogers both of Jackson; grandchildren, Anthony Robert Rogers and Aubrey Rose Gordon; and father, Stanley Rogers.

A gathering of friends will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
