Obituary of Patricia Perry
Patricia Perry, 84, of the Glendola section of Wall Township passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Patty was born in Neptune and was raised in Asbury Park. She was educated in Catholic schools, from Holy Spirit Grammar School in Asbury Park to St. Rose High School in Belmar to St. Francis School of Nursing in Trenton. She met the love of her life in 1957, Joe, and married, settling in Shark River Hills to start a family. They then moved to the Glendola section of Wall in 1962. She worked as an RN at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and as a private duty nurse for many years, but being a mom to her four children was her main priority. Patty had an eye for fashion and décor and took great pleasure in looking for that special find. She was a member of the Belmar Woman’s Club and loved spending time on the beach in Avon and Belmar. Patty was in many choirs throughout her life and had a true passion for singing and music. She was a devoted wife of 63 years, a loving mom, adoring grandmother and dear friend.
Patty was predeceased by father, John McNulty; her mother, Augusta West; stepfather, Fred West, Sr.; and her half-brother, Fred West. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Edward Perry; four children, Joseph Perry and his wife, Jennifer of Shark River Hills, Richard Perry of Wall, Thomas Perry of Neptune, and Lori Holland of Brick; four grandchildren, Tristan, David, and twins, Justin and Dylan; sister-in-law, Kathy West; nieces, Courtney and Meredith; and many dear friends.
