Obituary of Robert J. Cuollo
Robert J. Cuollo, 81, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Staten Island, NY before settling to Freehold 18 years ago. Robert worked for IBM as a computer engineer in New York City, and most recently as a school bus driver for over 12 years. He was a true entertainer who enjoyed acting, writing, singing, and producing. Robert thought he was a comedian, always having a new joke to tell. He enjoyed traveling which led to his love for cruises. Robert and his wife cruised to many places, most notably Paradise Island, Italy, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and St. Martin. He was very social and made friends anywhere he went. Those bonds will last a lifetime. Above all, Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather whose kind heart will be missed by all.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mamie Cuollo; and brothers, Frank Cuollo, Jr. and Ronald Cuollo. Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Cuollo; children, Debra Padavano and her husband, Nunzio of Scranton, PA and Robert Cuollo and his wife, Patricia of Manalapan; grandchildren, Toni Ann Snyder and her husband, Matthew, Lauren Padavano, AlexaRae Cuollo, Robert Cuollo, III, and Arianna Cuollo; and great granddaughter, Natalie Snyder.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown.
