Obituary of Anthony R. Scifo

Anthony R. Scifo, 31, of Manalapan passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Anthony was born in Long Branch and lived in Brick Township, Toms River and Colts Neck before settling in Manalapan. He loved being outdoors.  Anthony was happiest when he rode his Harley Davidson, Jet Ski or Snowmobile with his many friends.

Anthony was predeceased by his sister, Chelsea A. Scifo; paternal grandparents, Raffaele and Franca Scifo; and maternal grandparents, Robert Nilsen and Annemarie Jensen.  He is survived by his father, George Scifo and his wife, Deborah of Manalapan; mother, Robin Nilsen of Delray Beach, FL; brother, Dylan Scifo and his girlfriend, Jaimie Peretz of Jackson; sister, Gianna Scifo of Manalapan; aunt, MaryGrace Scifo and her partner, Charles Clinedinst of Holiday, FL; nieces and nephews, Zari, Vera and Giorgio; and his beloved dog, Sosa.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anthony may be made to Hope Sheds Light, 67 Atlantic Avenue, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
