Obituary of Jean Marie Garcia

Jean Marie Garcia, 77, of Jackson Township passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center.  She was born and raised in Bainbridge, New York, and had lived in Delhi, New York City and Old Bridge before settling in Jackson in 2005.  Jean was passionate about ballroom dancing, and it was dancing that brought her to the love of her life, Jose.  Together they danced for over 52 years.  She loved to socialize and was active at the Four Seasons at Metedeconk Lakes in Jackson. Jean enjoyed traveling, the beach and weekend trips to Atlantic City.  She was known as a friend to all but her favorite title was Grandma Jean.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jose Garcia of Jackson; children, David Garcia and his wife, Helene of Jackson, and Janine Bianchino and her husband, Brian of Jackson; four grandchildren, Steven, Ethan, Barrett, and Kyle.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
